This programme looks at responding to disasters and emergencies as they arise at the same time developing community solutions to everyday challenges through capacity development and preparedness. Other components of this programme include First aid and Nurse Aide training which also contributes to the local health system.
The programme looks at providing potable water for disadvantaged rural communities and in disaster situations through drilling and rehabilitating boreholes while making sure that there is improved sanitation and hygiene through construction of latrines and health education.
